I am an Assistant Professor in the Department of Justice Studies at the San Jose State University, San Jose, California, USA. My research and teaching interests revolve around the structural causes of political violence. I graduated with a Ph.D. in Political Science with concentration in International Relations, Comparative Politics and Research Methods from the University of Tennessee, Knoxville.
I did my Master’s in International Relations/Comparative Politics from the Appalachian State University, Boone, North Carolina in 2008. My M.A. thesis in Appalachian State University dealt with the human rights issue of the Untouchables in India. My graduate study from North Bengal University in India mainly focused on the politics of South Asian countries.
